Welcome to our website

The festive lights display in Stratford-upon-Avon has been illuminating the town over the Christmas period since 1983 and is considered to be one of the finest in the UK. In 2023 we celebrated 40 years of the Christmas lights.

The display is organised by a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure the lights shine each Christmas. You can find out more about this process by visiting our blog.

The Christmas lights are funded by generous grants from Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council, Stratford-upon-Avon BID and Stratford Town Trust alongside  sponsorship and donations from businesses, residents and the general public. If you have ever visited the town at Christmas and enjoyed the display, please consider donating towards the cost of the lights on our donations page. Every penny is invested into the upkeep of the lights.

Thank you for your support

Donate to the Christmas Lights

Currently, everyone is feeling the struggle and strain of the cost of living crisis and Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Lights Company are no exception.

In order to ensure we can continue to illuminate the town each Christmas we are asking local residents, visitors to the town and the general public if they would consider donating towards the Christmas Lights. We know for many this may not be possible and we understand this but if you can donate, as a not for profit operation any money we receive will be used to ensure Stratford Christmas Lights shine for many years to come and can continue to get bigger and better with each passing year.

You can donate using the button below or please contact us if you wish to set up a direct debit.
