Christmas Lights have been part of Stratford for more than 35 years and are recognised as being amongst the best in the country with visitors arriving from all over Britain to see them.
An intrinsic part of the Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Festival, they enhance the town's late night shopping events and Christmas markets, making the town a magical place to be and make a major contribution to the town's economy which benefits both businesses and townspeople alike.
The lights have been managed by The Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Lights Company Ltd since 2001, an independent company of non-fee charging volunteers who work solely for the town and its people; and are responsible for all fund-raising, marketing, engineering and planning. We are continually investigating new designs and layouts to "ring the changes" and we are proud of what we do to make the town look so welcoming during the Christmas/New Year season.
