Sponsors support Stratford-upon-Avon’s famous Christmas Lights 

Stratford-upon-Avon’s Market contractor, LSD Promotions, have joined Stratford Town Trust and Danter Attractions (Operator of Stratford’s big Wheel) as a Presenting Sponsor of Stratford-upon-Avon’s Christmas Lights. 

Stratford’s Christmas Lights have been organised by committee of volunteers since 1983. The committee are completely independent of any organisation and work for the Town’s residents and businesses.  The display is funded by grants, sponsorship and generous donations from local businesses and the general public. The sponsorship deal will see LSD promotions contribute over £3000 a year towards the lights for the next three years with Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Lights providing them with their own Christmas Tree at the bottom of Bridge Street alongside other promotional benefits. 

Dermot McGillicuddy, Director of LSD Promotions said “We work across the country on Christmas events and markets, and I can safely say, without doubt, that Stratford-upon-Avon’s Christmas Lights are the best. The Town is so lucky to have such a hardworking team of volunteers looking after the lights and we are delighted to be on board to ensure they keep illuminating the town for many years to come.” 

Matthew Coombes, Chairman of Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Lights commented “The award for best large speciality market that LSD Promotions have just won for the Victorian Christmas festival is not just a measure of that event but of how loved the Christmas Lights are to residents and visitors alike. LSD’s generous support, alongside our other Presenting sponsors will enable us to continue organising a fantastic festive display for Stratford-upon-Avon and allow us to replace and refurbish equipment.
